Mellow Magazine started its life back in December 2006 in El Campello, Spain. It was a printed A5 magazine for the English speaking community in that part of the Costa Blanca. The magazine was published each month until 2012, when we needed to return to the UK for family reasons. We returned in 2014 and created a new magazine called Tickled Squirrel, which we published for almost a year before family circumstances again took us back to the UK and the magazine, sadly, stopped again. When the pandemic hit, we produced an online version with free advertising as our way of thanking the advertisers who had been with us before. This continued until 2022, when the pressure of other work led to it stopping.

We are looking at bringing Mellow Magazine back in 2026 as a free, printed magazine for the south of Scotland, centred on Annan in Dumfries and Galloway, featuring local interest articles. The magazine will be freely available in local shops and businesses. An online version of each magazine will also be available here, on this site. Please add yourself to our newsletter so you will be kept up to date.
If you have a business of any kind, get in touch, and we can add an advertisement for you in the magazine and in the advertisers' directory. The online version will also feature your advertisement which are selected at random and placed at the foot of each article, similar to those below. Four on large screens, one on small screen devices.
